Vista turned out to be a big marketing/bad press nightmare - although some 2 years after the release, many people are using it with no problems.  I am one of those people, I don't love everything, but I won't be using XP any time soon on my main desktop.  Vista IS the next version of the operating system, and Windows 7 is going to be even better!  I love watching how much GOOD press this version is getting - I think people are tired of slamming Microsoft, and want to LIKE their computer.
