Great service, honest people
If I had another hand, I'd give Dr. PC FIx three thumbs up! I recently bought a reconditioned laptop from them, and I've dealt with them over the phone a few times about problems with my old computer.There's nothing salesmanlike about the people who work there; no pressure, no attempt to upsell. I always feel that I can trust what they tell me.
Furthermore, my laptop has a full-year guarantee. When you buy a reconditioned computer from a chain store, you typically get just three months. The fact that they'll guarantee for a year is an obvious statement of confidence in their company.
It's also enormously helpful that they'll diagnose your computer problems for free. (Many companies charge a substantial fee for this.) I would highly recommend this store to anyone.
Having worked in the IT industry for years, I'm not a technical type. So when my computer got a vicious virus I was certain I'd have to buy a new computer. I dropped it off with the guys at Dr. PC Fix and they handled everything. Professional and courtesy in every interaction with them. They kept me informed and made sure I knew what needed to be done as well as the price for the fixes. If ever I'm in need again, I will gladly go to these guys. I highly recommend them.
Took my PC into the shop to figure out why it failed to work. Usually expect several days to diagnose the problem. But, it was diagnosed and repaired the same day. that NEVER happens!!!
It's a good thing that I just happened to drive by the place earlier in the day. My usual Bellevue computer repair store is o longer my usual!

I found the Dr. PC Fix guys to be very personable, as well as extremely fair in their pricing. Their hourly rate is the most reasonable I've come across in my experience, and they maintained contact throughout the process of establishing diagnosis, prior to incurring charges. If I were remaining in the Washington area, I would definitely be returning to them with all of my computer needs. They were able to retrieve the contents of my fried desktop and were very clear in their explanation of why the computer itself could not be saved.
